Eurobattery Minerals is a Swedish mining company headquartered in Stockholm. The company has two ongoing mining projects with teams on site. Below is the team of Eurobattery Minerals, which works daily to provide Europe with ethically sourced and fully traceable battery minerals.
Roberto García Martínez
CEO AND MEMBER OF THE BOARD
Roberto García Martínez has been the CEO of Eurobattery Minerals since the spring of 2019 and also sits on the company’s board. He has more than 25 years’ experience at the international level in the mining industry.
Mattias Modén
Financial Controller
Mattias Modén has been working with accounting and finance responsibility in Eurobattery Minerals (former Orezone) since 2016. He has a master’s degree in economics, a degree in accounting and taxation and 20 years of experience in the finance industry.
Ilari Kinnunen
Managing Director of FinnCobalt Oy
Ilari Kinnunen brings almost 20 years of experience in different roles in the mining sector with several senior positions. Ilari has an M. Sc. in Mineral Engineering from the Aalto University, department of chemistry and material science. Based in Outokumpu, Ilari is responsible for development and operations of Hautalampi battery mineral mine development project.
Kalle Penttilä
PROJECT GEOLOGIST
Kalle Penttilä has nine years of experience as a geologist in mining companies and structural geologist work. Since 2016, Kalle has been working as a project geologist in the Hautalampi project. He has a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Helsinki.
Agne Ahlenius
Managing Director of Tungsten San Juan
Agne Ahlenius is a senior mining executive with over 35 years of international experience in mine development and operations. Former CEO of the Spanish Barruecopardo tungsten mine and leader in sustainable mining, he has held key roles at for example Boliden, MATSA/Sandfire and Lundin Mining. He holds a Master of Science in Mining Engineering from Luleå University of Technology, Sweden.
Manuel Suarez Fernández
Director Facultativo
He holds a PhD in Mining Engineering from the University of Oviedo and has over thirty years of experience in coal, gold, and tungsten mining. He has participated in mining projects in Spain, Ukraine, and South Africa, where he has held positions related to safety, design, and mining permits. Mr. Suárez is also a technical expert at the Spanish National Accreditation Body (ENAC).
